It’s time to turn the twang up. Midwest CMA artists are going to have quite the presence at the Minnesota State Fair this year at two booths: BUZ’N 102.9 and TOTAL Country BOB FM.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Sarah Morris will kick it all off at the BUZ’N 102.9 booth on the first day, Thursday, August 23rd. Powered by CENEX, the lineup showcases many styles of country music, and will give everyone the taste of the state’s top notch talent. Other artists include Chad Johnson, Whiskey Trail, Poppa Bear Norton, Cindy Jo, and Devon Worley. Each artist will play for an hour starting at 6:00 pm.
There will also be a special 90 minute Women of Country Wednesday on August 29th with Erica Hanson, Karin Kern, Dayna Koehn, and Swanny Rose.

If you’re for even more local country music then TOTAL Country BOB FM’s booth will be hosting another year of local artists starting Thursday, August 23rd as well. Sponsored by Beisswenger’s Hardware, it will all kick off with Jason Paulson and then artists such as Erin Grand, Mitch Gordon, Kristine Wriding, Sailor Jerri, Elizabeth Keeney, and more fill out the rest of dates. There will also be two live Homegrown Shows on Sunday, August 26th with Graham Bramblett and Kari Arnett, and on Sunday, September 2nd with Alannah McCready and Mike Villalva.
